The Bright Future Network
The Bright Future Network (BFNet) is made up of the graduates from the Bright Future Now course. It currently has 361 people from 34 countries on 6 continents in the network.
At the moment, we aren't adding anyone, since we’re no longer offering the Bright Future Now course. However, we expect to have a new pathway into the network once we get our new courses going in 2025.
Purpose
BFNet is one of the ways that Context Institute pursues its mission to accelerate the transition to a humane and sustainable culture. It does this by:
Helping its members in their culture-changing activities. Research shows people in strong networks are more successful and resilient. BFNet brings this power of networks into the service of its members and of the world. A few example projects are REDES in Senegal, Conscious Attention Economy, BERAS International and Jazz Leadership.
Acting as living laboratory for co-evolving new cultural patterns based on the Foundational Keys. Our discoveries will be shared through this Substack and inform our new course offerings.
Diversity
In addition to the geographic diversity shown on the map, the network has many other dimensions of diversity:
Within the network, we have entrepreneurs, educators, ecovillagers, lawyers, students, visual storytellers, programmers, parents, artists, activists, consultants, writers, engineers and more
Members' ages range from 16 to 92
There's a good balance and diversity across the gender spectrum
We have lots of cultural and ethnic diversity.
All of this diversity makes us better designers of new cultural patterns that can be broadly relevant to people all over the world.
At the same time, our shared experience in the BFNow course provides common language and common tools so that we can easily collaborate across our differences.
The best way to get the benefit of BFNet's evolutionary scouting and find out when the new pathway into the network opens up is to subscribe.
